Rick & Yvonne Murray

Meet Rick and Yvonne Murray. This husband and wife duo takes pride in making your special event stress-free and loads of fun.

  • Rick

Hello, my name is Rick Murray, co-owner of South Mountain Entertainment. I am the company’s headline DJ and President. Music has been my passion since I was young. I would always get in trouble for playing records on my mother’s oversized record player.

This business started as a part-time venture, helping friends with parties, and such, and has now morphed into a full-time business in 2019. Working alongside my wife, we create an experience for each couple to enjoy. I love seeing couples dance to mixes from oldies to today’s current Top 40. While no one experience is the same, we strive to make each one memorable. I take pride in knowing that each client’s vision has been made a reality from our services. We opened our new downtown office space in 2021 where clients can come and experience everything we have to offer.

At home, I help with our 2 dogs, Remington, and Kimber, even though they are mostly “momma’s dogs.” I enjoy fun time at the park with the dogs, hiking/backpacking, and just some quiet time when I am not working on the business.

We pride ourselves on the Husband/Wife team approach, which means when you book with us, you’re getting the owners of the company.

  • Yvonne

Hi, I’m Yvonne Murray (aka Sunshine) and co-owner of South Mountain Entertainment. I am the company’s MC, Officiant and DJ. I love to bring the party hype to the floor through my upbeat announcements and performance.

I have been married to Rick for over 20 years. We are a dynamic duo both together and separately. We love to share our passion with every couple we meet, whether in person or over the phone. We try to provide experience and quality for value to each client we work with, either with full wedding, a party, or just our photobooth.

I am a recent college graduate at 43 years old. I co-parent 2 awesome doggies: Remington (6) and Kimber (5) and our 21-year-old daughter. I have been working for the Commonwealth for over 5 years now.
